Hard to believe but on June 11th, G&B will formally be open for 1 full year. To celebrate, we are planning an all-day event on Saturday, June 8th with live music from 2 of our favorite folks, John White and Caleb Davis. We will also have special sales on many of our wines and beers that Saturday.

We sincerely thank everyone who has supported us throughout our first year. We also continue to welcome new members to our G&B club.

Beer 101: Beers of Summer with Chris Martin-Thursday, May 23rd from 7-9pm. $10 per person.

Wine 101 Wine Tasting & Movie Night with Sara Guterbock: France vs USA tasting followed by viewing of the movie Bottle Shock- Thursday, May 30th from 6-9pm. $20 per person includes wine tasting and pizza during the movie.

Reservations required for both classes. Contact us to secure your reservation.

We have lots going on with some spectacular local performers. Here’s what’s coming up in the next 30 days:

1. Friday, May 24th from 8-10pm: Jazz Music from the Kroy Pressley Trio.

2. Friday, May 31st from 7:30-10pm: Live Music from Syko Sounds Where you Pick the Songs he Performs.

3. Saturday, June 8th: Celebrate G&B’s 1 year anniversary with John White from 3-5pm and Caleb Davis from 8-10pm.

4. Saturday, June 22nd: An evening with John White from 7-9pm

5. Saturday, June 29th: Live music from the Josh and Tyler Acoustic Duo. 7:30-10:00

You know we rotate our featured wines by the glass every Wednesday. You have the opportunity to enjoy 3 flight size pours of these wines for the low price of $10.

Also, any remaining wines by the glass from the previous week are 1/2 off, while supplies last.

Finally, all draft and bottled bar beers are $1 off every Wednesday.

Our wine 101 series with Sara Guterbock have been a huge success, so of course we will be bringing her back for a series of classes starting in January. 3 of these classes will include a movie night with complimentary pizza after each class while you enjoy the movie. The schedule is as follows and may be subject to change. All classes are $20 per person and start at 6pm on the movie nights. Otherwise they start at 7pm. Mark you calendars and reserve your spot early.

January 17th: Wine Styles 101

February 28th: A Sideways Wine Tasting (movie night with Sideways. Movie is rated R)

April 18th: A Grape Comparison

May 30th: Bottle Shock Tasting (movie night with Bottle Shock. Movie is rated PG-13)

July 18th: Polar Opposites

August 29th: A Good Year Wine Tasting (movie night with A Good Year. Movie is rated PG-13)

October 13th: "Going Blind" Tasting

November 14th: Wine Pairing Made Perfect.
